FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HOUSTON, TX – Presidential candidate Ron Paul will make a major announcement tonight during a rally coinciding with the Texas GOP State Convention. The event will be held from 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm at the Hilton America Hotel in downtown Houston, right across from the George R. Brown Convention Center.
There has been wide speculation about the future of the limited government movement that has been inspired by Dr. Paul’s presidential bid. This event comes on the heels of revelations this week that Dr. Paul will hold a rally to celebrate liberty and Republican traditions in Minnesota during the GOP convention this September.

I'm probably as delusional as Dennis Kucinich,
But I hope that Dr. Paul gets a chance to speak on the big stage during during the GOP National Convention.
When Reagan got a chance to speak when Michigan Center Gerald R. Ford got the GOP nomination, it was the spark that got Reagan's supporters the energy to reach out to fiscal conservatives of both parties and to folks who wanted to feel good about America again.
Until a candidate comes forward with optimism for the future, we may be cursed to another Carter styled administration.
I have to admit, my boy McCain is about as exciting as Jerry Ford...
Show me a candidate with an optimism to feel good about the future of America with an individual Liberty mindset and an ability to unify Conservatives, Libertarians and Blue Dog Democrats, then we'll have a winner. Not just a GOP winner, but America wins. I'm still not seeing any real optimism from Dr. Paul, but I'm presuming that there is always an understudy somewhere in the wings.
